2009 marked the year of the plus size model here are the events we loved and were inspired by:

1. New Plus size designers and boutiques flourishing: Kingley and Posh, CarmaKoma, Lotis, Disismi, Chocolate Sushi

2. Plus size designer Elna Miro shows in Milan fashion week

3. New Mags: Relaunch of SKORCH, Manik mag splashes on the scene, Belle Noir gets a new look

4. Marie Claire gets its first plus size columnist

5. Full Figure Fashion week hits NYC

6. Celebrity Plus size model Crystal Renn drops her memoir - 'Hungry'

7. Forever 21 launches Faith 21

8. Qristal Frazier in on 'Project Runway'

9. Glamour magazines Plus size model spread

and now V magazine has followed in these footsteps with their Jan 2010 Size Issue - Lets keep it coming!

P.S Karl Lagerfelt shot the V mag spread despite his previous comments about how he hated Fat people and shouldn't have to look at them and also said Heidie Klum was heavy - bit of a sheep if you ask me - boo to him !
